As I flew back from Directions Asia 2025 this morning, I felt inspired to jot down my thoughts during the quieter moments of the flight. My wife and daughter quickly drifted off, likely exhausted from our exciting nights filled with vibrant parties and adventures in the lively city of Bangkok. It was a joy to experience everything together, making those memories unforgettable!
I was still buzzing with the excitement and energy in the vibrant Bangkok air. Over three action-packed days, I had the opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts like me, industry leaders, and innovators within the Business Central community.
This year’s conference was significant because of its expanded format of 3 days and the remarkable content and engagement we experienced, with 526 attendees joining for this incredible journey.
The conference started with an extremely talented lineup of keynote speakers, including Mike Morton, Jannik Bausager, Dmitry Chadayev, and Peter Borring. Their insights set the tone for the conference.
Day 2 was a highlight for me, as I delivered my session titled “App Building, Simplified: Power Apps + Copilot + Business Central” alongside Stephen. The audience’s response was overwhelmingly positive, and it was amazing to see so many engaged participants eager to learn about the integrations of Microsoft technologies.
We’re not just talking numbers; the momentum in the channel is fantastic. There are now 1,400 partners selling AI agents, and 1,000 new Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs) have joined the Business Central ecosystem.
Microsoft showcased how these agents can adapt and learn based on user input, demonstrating a foundational shift in how we think about sales and purchase processes.
Another exciting session I led on the final day was “From Chaos to Connectivity: Integration Best Practices with Power Automate & Azure Services.” Again, the feedback was fantastic, validating the urgency and need for best practices in the evolving landscape of technology integration.
What truly made Directions Asia 2025 memorable were the connections we built in Bangkok’s heart.
While I look forward to Directions Asia 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from May 13-15, 2026, I can’t help but feel emotional about leaving behind Bangkok, which has hosted this conference several times and has become close to heart.
Thank you to everyone who participated, shared, and contributed. Your passion fuels the success in the community, and I can’t wait to see how we innovate together in the coming years.
Let’s carry this momentum forward and continue transforming the Business Central landscape!
